The Upside Down - RETIRED

The Upside Down House Building Set

Step into Hawkins with The Upside Down House Building Set, a large display build that recreates the Byers family home in both the real world and the dark, twisted version that exists beneath it.

The two houses are built as one connected display, creating the set’s unmistakable upside-down presentation. One side recreates the familiar Byers home, while the other transforms it into the overgrown, decaying environment of the Upside Down.

Inside, the rooms are packed with recognizable details from the series, including Will’s bedroom, the living room with Joyce’s alphabet wall and Christmas lights, furniture, lamps, posters, and other references Stranger Things fans will recognize throughout the build.

The set includes 8 character figures — Eleven, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Will, Joyce, Hopper, and the Demogorgon — along with accessories inspired by the series.

Why It Made Our Current Finds

The Upside Down is exactly the kind of set The Brick Addict was built to find.

The original became one of the most recognizable Stranger Things display sets, but after retirement, collector pricing made putting one on the shelf increasingly difficult to justify.

What makes this build special is that it isn't simply another house. The entire display tells the story. The normal Byers home sits directly above its dark counterpart, with the trees and structure creating the illusion that one world has been flipped beneath the other.

For Stranger Things fans who missed the original — and care more about finally putting The Upside Down on their shelf than the logo that came on the original box — this was an easy Current Finds pick.
